menus FUNCTION INFORMATION VENUE The Country Faire can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests. If you require a dance-floor area a maximum of 150 guests can be comfortably seated. VENUE HIRE R2'500-00 hiring fee is charged for guests less than 100 and R500 if 100 or more. This includes waiters (until 22h00), barman (until 22h00), cutlery, linen & overlays (various colours). R300 waiter charge for service extending beyond 22h00. TIMING Morning & lunch functions closing time to be confirmed.
Late afternoon/evening functions is available until 00:00 after which an hourly rate of R100-00 per waiter will be charged or part thereof.
SET-UP Tables are set with linen, cutlery, side-plates, wine & flute champagne glasses.
Hire-in overlays can be laid if prior arrangements & delivery has been made.
DECORATIONS Additional décor, flowers, chair overlays, entertainments etc is for customers own account & own arrangements. Any special arrangements need to be cleared with management. DEPOSIT/PAYMENT 50% Deposit (menu price X expected numbers) is required to secure booking. On confirmation of final numbers (72 hrs prior) final payment is expected. Account bar limit will need to be paid in advance, portion not used will be refunded. BAR Bar requirements need to be arranged with management i.e. Cash or Account. Wine or Sparkling wine to be placed on tables etc.
No own beverages or food is allowed on premises. SQUASH The Squash section was established in 1978 with a mere 5 members and has since grown to approximately 70 active members. The club has 2 well maintained courts with a gallery and spectator benches. The club’s well equipped facilities, ie; club house, bar, lounge and cloakroom facilities are available for players to use. BOWLS The “Ray Blake” clubhouse hosts two bowling greens. Games are played on Wednesday & Saturday afternoons, Sunday mornings and public holidays.
